Environmental Health Services

Health Concerns

The Environmental Health section of the Kent County Health Department is primarily a regulatory agency that enforces delegated programs and services from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Maryland Department of the Environment, Kent County and its incorporated towns. These programs and services include:

Building Lot Evaluations
Soil evaluations and percentage tests
Consultation and plan review

  3. Special Food Service Facility (ie church suppers, bake sales, firehouse, fraternal organizations dinners)
