Tobacco Use / Prevention and Cessation Program
The Kent County Health Department Tobacco Prevention Program offers several free services to help you to quit using tobacco and lead a tobacco free life.
Tobacco Free Helpline (410-778-7028)
Telephone support available Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. For all other times, please leave a message. Calls will be returned
within 48 hours.
Nicotine Replacement, Chantix and Bupropion ProgramFree nicotine replacement, including patches, lozenges, gum, Chantix and Bupropion (a nicotine free pill to help you to quit smoking) are offered to those county residents who qualify. For more information, call the Tobacco Free Helpline or come to the Tobacco Clinic.
Individual Consultation
Talk to a professional specializing in tobacco dependence. Consultations are available by appointment only. Call the Tobacco Free Helpline to schedule an appointment.
Teen Tobacco Awareness Program
This is a one session program aimed at educating youth under the age of eighteen about the dangers of tobacco use. Call the Tobacco Free Helpline for a schedule of classes and to pre-register.
